  • Lemon Hill: Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., April 1 through mid-December
  • Strawberry Mansion: Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., July 1 through mid-December

Admission for Self-Guided Tours

Admission fees are payable at each house.
Adult, $5; Senior citizen, $3; Child (ages 6–12), $2
Admission is free for children under six, and admission to Mount Pleasant and Cedar Grove is free for members of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Wondrous to Behold: Fairmount Water Works

Offered seasonally. This tour involves walking as well as some stairs; tours are held weather-permitting
Join Park House Guides on a tour of the Fairmount Water Works, an engineering marvel of its time, which was described by Edgar Allan Poe as "wondrous to behold." Tours last approximately 90 minutes and depart on Thursday and Saturday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. from the Philadelphia Museum of Art's West Entrance.

The Schuylkill Stroll

Offered seasonally. Please note, this tour involves walking as well as some steps. Tours are held weather-permitting.
Take a scenic stroll along Philadelphia's beautiful Boathouse Row, with a look at sculpture and architecture in close proximity to the Museum. Tours last approximately 90 minutes. They depart on Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. and on Friday evenings at 6:00 p.m. from the Philadelphia Museum of Art's West Entrance.

Holiday Tours of the Fairmount Park Houses

Visit the Fairmount Park Houses for the annual Holiday Tours, and get inspired by these architectural gems. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and stories of early American yuletides.

Guided tours available during regular operating hours; no reservations required.

Philadelphia Museum of Art member discounts do not apply during Holiday Tours.

Special trolley service available Friday–Sunday, December 5–7 and December 12–14. Trolley tour admission is $25 per visitor for 3 houses (includes trolley transportation). Transportation offered by Philadelphia Trolley Works. Trolleys depart from the Italian Fountain Circle at the Fairmount Water Works at 10:00 a.m. and return at Noon, or leave at 2:00 p.m. and return at 4:00 p.m. (Fairmount Water Works, 640 Water Works Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19130). Trolley reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling (215) 389-8687. Depending on availability, tickets can also be purchased from the trolley driver.
